One Day Closer

Our paper chase is nearly complete!  I pray that by the end of January our Dossier will be where our little daughter is-China.  I am so ready to be "matched" with her.  Finally getting all of our paperwork to China will quicken the match process.  Want to learn patience?  Start an adoption process!  It is going to be worth it though.  What a blessing will be waiting for us at the end of this long journey!  One of the boys told me a few days ago that he wanted his little sister for Christmas.  She has a Daddy who prays for her all the time, a Mama who can't stop thinking about her, & two big brothers who want to help take care of her already.    Here's hoping that next Christmas our family is complete & together!

For those of you who have not yet heard about the adoption journey our family has embarked on, we are waiting to be matched with our future daughter.  We don't know who she is yet, but we know that she is probably living in a foster home or orphanage in China.  I'm hoping that keeping up this blog will help me as I anticipate the day that we will finally get a phone call saying, "We have a picture for you!".  Thomas and I were married ten years ago, and from the beginning I shared with him that, as well as having children biologically, I hoped to adopt one day.  Thomas is a wonderful man, & now that we have two boys, with the youngest in Kindergarten, he too is ready to welcome home a daughter. The biggest blessing?  Our boys are so excited about a sister!  Please pray for our family during this exciting and uncertain time!
